If you'd like to see the Lower River Ter at a glance with all the family in a fun way, there ir nothing better than doing the Gualta Viewpoint route with the Surfway.
With this quiet, easy and fun vehicle we first ride through the plain surrounded by fruit and cereal crops, then we go through the little village of Gualta, famous for its 5 arch Romanesque bridge, then we climb up to the top of the Font Pasquala hill, from where you can see the whole Lower River Ter plain and a brief explanation will reveal some interesting secrets.
We will come back down the hill and then pass through Gualta village again, this time acknowledging the majestic Mill that became a mini electrical control centre supplying light to the area. A couple of kilometres ahead we reach our starting point and end this memorable experience of discovering one more piece ot the Emporda with the Surfway.

Book Now >- As a precaution, pregnant women are not allowed to ride the Surfway.
- You must weigh between 25 and 100 kg to ride a Surfway.
- The handlebar backpacks can be loaded with a maximum of 2 kg.
- When on an excursion all participants should ride in a line and always be behind the guide.
- Always give way to pedestriansand respect them, and when possible overtake them on the left and at moderate speed. Your behaviour should always be respect ful towards the environment in general.
- Helmets must always be worn on Surfway excursions with Ocitania.
- You must always use both hands when riding the Segways, therefore mobile phones and other devices are not permitted while Segways are in use.
- Out of respect for the environment, smoking is not allowed whilst on a Surfway excursion.
- In the summer: sunglasses, sports shoes and sunscreen are required.
- In the winter: suitable warm clothing is recommended.
