Ullastret and craft-beer tasting

The route starts at Dos Kiwis, the microbrewery located in Rupià. There, we will explain the usefu info of the burricleta e-bike and we will start pedaling. The first village is Rupià, where in the shelter of the remains of an ancient medieval wall, we can breathe the air of its ancient splendor.

We will continue through Casavells and Matajudaica and go to Ullastret, one of the most unknown and charming villages in this part of the Empordà. Right after, we will pass the Iberian village of Ullastret, a testament to our roots and which will evoke remote times.

We will go to Llabià and return through Fonolleres, with its small church, to Rupià. There, we will visit the facilities of Dos Kiwis Brewing Co. and we'l, do a taste of different beers.

Via Girona beer, Rupianum Empordà or Heartbreaker will be some of the beers you can taste.

Who are Dos Kiwis?

Judit (Llofriu, Baix Empordà) and Michael (New Zealand) created DosKiwis Brewing in 2016, with the mission of brewing the beers they wanted to drink and sharing them with the community.

In February 2019, they opened their factory with a tasting area, a space based on their experiences and cultures, in Rupià.
