Medieval carving and oil tasting among olive trees

Fontclara's story is that of love at first sight. The one with Roland Zanotelli's with the Empordà, with the landscape, the flora, the tradition, the land, the gastronomy, and, of course, the olive fields. Passionate about botany, gastronomy and art, and captivated by the area, he decided to turn his dream into a real project by creating roots with local people.

Fontclara's extra virgin olive oils, produced in the traditional way and with ecological certification, have been awarded around the world in various prestigious competitions. Year after year, the collection of awards increases, vouching for the unique quality of Fontclara production.

Tour:

We will leave the Ocitania facilities and cycle in the direction of Peratallada. With cobbled streets and a unique charm, this medieval town is a jewel in the middle of the Empordà.

The route is easy and flat and apple orchards accompany us along the ride. How charming these rural landscapes of the Empordà are, the result of the tireless farmers who work the fields!

Passing through Palau Sator, we will arrive in Fontclara and there we will visit the Zanotelli facilities to taste one of the best oils in the world.

After Fontclara we will cycle calmly through fields and olive groves and we will reach Ocitania again where we will finish the route.
